Development of Republic of Croatia’s waterway marking system
The project "Development of Republic of Croatia’s waterway marking system" (with the project - KK.07.3.1.03.0001) is co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020).
The purpose of the project "Development of Republic of Croatia’s waterway marking system" is to increase the safety of navigation and the efficiency of the waterway marking system of all waterways in the Republic of Croatia. The project investment will improve:
- productivity of waterway marking activities,
- navigational safety of waterways and the scope of their operation by allowing rapid responses and increasing the time in which the waterway is properly marked.
The Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure signed a Grant Agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency on March 20, 2020 for the project "Development of Republic of Croatia’s waterway marking system". The deadline for the completion of the project is 31 December 2023, and the implementation covers the area of Brod-Posavina, Osijek-Baranja, Sisak-Moslavina and Vukovar-Srijem counties.
The total value of the project is HRK 27,195,181.61 including VAT (portion co-financed by European Union is HRK 23,115,904.36 including VAT).
